Do I need a Zoom account to join?

No, you do not need a Zoom account to join a session as a participant. Participants can join via a link or Meeting ID through the app or web browser.

When will I receive my join link?

Once your payment is confirmed, you will be redirected to a Success Page with your unique Zoom link. A confirmation will also be sent to the email address you used for registration.

Will I be recorded?

Your privacy is very important to us, and therefore attendees are not recorded. While the live portions during which Dr. Stokes presents are recorded, the recording is shut-off during the Q and A session with the audience. There is also no discussion or interaction with the audience during Dr. Stokes' presentation portion. This helps to ensure attendees' privacy. Attendees are also welcome to use an alias when logged in, to remove any self-portrait or avatar, and to turn their cameras off or use the "stop video" or "turn off my video" options in Zoom. What is the format for the live sessions?

The series is presented live via Zoom in a webinar format. Each session will typically begin with five to ten minutes of background and analysis followed with approximately 30 minutes focused on key skills and strategies. This main portion of each session in which Dr. Stokes is presenting does not feature discussion or questions from the audience. After this main portion of the session is complete, another 15 minutes will be devoted to a live Q&A in which Dr. Stokes will field questions from the audience. While the live portion prior to the Q and A is recorded, the Q and A itself is not recorded. This ensures privacy of those attending.

What if I can't find my link on the day of the event?

Please check your "Promotions" or "Spam" folders for an email from Zoom or Dr. DaShanne Stokes. If you still cannot locate it, please contact speaking (at) dashannestokes.com at least two hours before we go live at 2:00 p.m.

Will there be a recording?

The main portion of each session in which Dr. Stokes is presenting is recorded, but the Q and A portions are not recorded. This helps ensure privacy for attendees. For participants who sign up for the session packages that include access to recordings (Early Bird Full Pass, the Standard Full Pass), there will be a 48-hour replay video made available within 72 hours of the live session. Those who sign up for The Vault will receive extended access to the session recordings for the life of the program. Note that recordings of the series do not include the live Q and A, which are live only and are not recorded.
